Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) A one-off production by one of the best keyboard players on the planet, going into the "Surprise! Surprise!" genre. Well, actually it's not so much of a surprise that Jordan Rudess (along with Mahesh Raghvan) plays a strange little music device here called the "Geoshred", which he invented himself. We already know his hobby well. The first surprise is the vocal contribution of BC Manjunath, whom I'd call - in absence of a better idea - "The Human Typewriter". "Doobre-deeky-tucca-nee-duh, dee-teeky-doom", y'know... ummm... a bit distracting, but funny at least. However, the biggest surprise here, and the real attraction, is the bass wizardry performed by Mohini Dey. Phew, kick ass! Watch some video clips of hers on YouTube - yes, she can do an awesome slap bass, too!

The track features Mahesh and I both playing Geoshred, my cutting edge virtual instrument for iOS that allows you to achieve realistic guitar sounds that you can bend, stretch and manipulate endlessly! geoshred.com
